Are Contrail Objects Linked To Atmospheric "Rods"?
One most interesting aspects of these "mystery objects" is their apparent association with what has been termed "rods". Jose Escamilla began documenting these strange forms which often consist of a central rod-like form with flowing "winglets" on either side -- although these "forms" vary in shape, design (if you will) and size.
Michael Bonnickson has been capturing "rod-like" amorphous objects flitting across the sky and has shared many insights with me. Bonnickson has shared on Rense and with Tracers a possible link between rods and objects within and moving around persistent contrails. When I enhanced his video captures -- in the background were many of the same white spheres with dark spheroids attached on either side as seen on Avery's, Moors' and McGinnis' photos and videos in addition to a plethora of other photographs of persistent contrails with their associated objects.
It does appear at this time that the PC phenomena and these "combination objects" might be intimately related to what is referred to as "rods". The white objects can change into various shapes and configurations-- the trail substance often surrounding one or more of these objects.
Many "rods" appear to be composed of shaft and a flowing sheath resembling some marine species while others are white globular and amorphous objects seemingly connected by a rope-like substance. According to Bonnicker some "rods" in his videos appear to contain darker spheroidal objects very similar to the darker objects in the persistent contrails. Photos and video animations of these rods and these "mystery objects" can be seen at the following sites:

The Black Line Mystery
Along side of these mysterious white lines in the sky many are observing darker lines -- some appearing to be shadows of the white PCs and others varying from the typical characteristics of a trail shadow. These dark spreading lines often look similar to shadows cast upon a strange white haze.
Many contrail observers report seeing a "shadow" disappearing from a position parallet to the PC behind the craft and another dark line suddenly flaring out in front of the craft. Photos and videos are now showing the phenomena clearly--some videos showing either dark or light parallel lines running far out ahead of a moving craft laying a persistent contrail. Recently, observers have reported witnessing a dark line being formed by what appears to be a craft while others have reported seeing no visible craft in front of these or white PCs. (see http://tracers.8m.com/blkline.htm for photos)
In addition to optical effects in a PC filled sky, witnesses are reporting seeing dark line appear before the white one and at times departing from it.
An interesting sighting by a talk show producer over New Mexico demonstrates the "preceding" line effect reported by observers from many locations world-wide. First the dark line makes it way across the sky overhead and then within seconds another line -- this time a white PC -- courses its way across the sky running exactly parallel to the first.
Several recent reports and accompanying photographs/videos tell of dark and white parallel lines occurring simultaneously. After covering a significant portion of the sky -- the white PC departs from the dark one moving away in another direction -- leaving the dark line remnates to spread and dissipate overhead.
Many of the photographs of the Black Line phenomena reveal upon enlargement/enhancement what appear to be PC related objects -- within the dark line -- dark objects...and within white line -- white objects. As mentioned above, Rick Moors and other photographers have captured PCs appearing to disperse white objects/material between two lines of darker objects/material. It seems reasonable to conjecture that the "Black Lines" may contain the darker objects and the parallel white PCs contain the white objects. Thus the dark-white parallel lines could be yet another way to distribute adjacently these two types of objects for their ultimate attachment to one another.
